Platypus are a wild, dancing mix of brass and keyboard-fuelled psyche and bubblegum country.
Formed by composer Ben Mowat initially to focus on his own strings-based compositions, The String Project interpret trip-hop, folk, soul, minimalism and more with live strings, beatbox, vocals, electronics and keys. Often joined in live performances by guest artists from around the country and their own collective of visual artists, the band are a unique multi-sensory experience.
